Documentary: “The Sea, in the Story of a Life”
A documentary by Marco Musso for ComeUnaMarea Onlus (video footage by Emanuele Cira and Gaspare Catania), supported by the European Maritime and Fisheries Fund. The film presents, in a vivid and evocative scenario, a “typical” day in the life of the fishermen of Isola delle Femmine, highlighting the critical challenges of a profession at risk of disappearing.
The documentary was produced for the Cerealia Festival and on the occasion of Italian Taste Week 2021, as part of the celebrations of the “Mediterranean Day – 28 November”.
The docu-video by ComeUnaMarea for Cerealia participates in the Mediterranean Day 2021. The 42 member states of the Union for the Mediterranean have declared 28 November as the official Mediterranean Day, inviting the entire Mediterranean community—and all those who identify with the Mediterranean—to celebrate the enduring legacy of this millennial agora of cultural dialogue, wisdom, and humanism.
