We thank specchioromano.it for awarding the Colomba Antonietti Prize 2025 to Paola Sarcina, president of the cultural association Music Theatre International – MThI ETS and director/founder of the Cerealia Festival, with the following motivation: “a supporter of all initiatives honouring Colomba Antonietti; she is credited with the creation of a bread dedicated to the heroine.”
Colomba Antonietti was a heroine of the Italian Risorgimento and the Roman Republic; she is the only woman represented with a bust on the Gianicolo Hill in Rome. The award was presented by Cinzia Dal Maso and Annalisa Venditti, creators and promoters of the initiative, during an event held at the Museum of the Roman Republic on Friday 13 June, the anniversary of Colomba’s death.
