Joining her are Tiziana Briguglio (agri-food journalist and president of *Agroalimentare in rosa*) and Giuseppina Giovannoli (Mayor of Sermoneta). This cooking workshop focuses on the gastronomic heritage of Sermoneta and the Pontine region, highlighting the connections between local produce, agricultural history, centuries-old recipes, and the mindful use of ingredients. Starting directly from the regional rail network, the hike follows the ridges and ancient shepherd trails of the Aniene Valley—an area historically linked to the age-old practices of transhumance and pastoralism. Participants retrace the footsteps of shepherds and the old routes used by farmers before arriving in Anticoli Corrado, the renowned "village of artists and models." Return journey from Roviano (via COTRAL bus at 16:21, arriving at Ponte Mammolo at 17:05).Organized by ass. Apicultura Nivura
A day dedicated to primary schools at an enterprise committed to protecting the Sicilian *Apis mellifera* through sustainable beekeeping practices and biodiversity conservation initiatives. Apicultura Nivura is a Sicilian start-up led by Irene Russo, who is specialized in high-tech beekeeping and focuses on preserving the Sicilian Black Bee (*Apis mellifera sicula*), a subspecies at risk of extinction. The community apiary is located in Borgata Ciaculli, an area renowned for its late-ripening mandarins. The project combines urban and precision beekeeping with digital hive monitoring. Through their adoption program, it is possible to monitor the bees' activity and health remotely. The day’s program will feature educational and informative activities, workshops, environmental education sessions, and guided tastings.Organized by the association Comeunamarea ETS, in collaboration with Apicultura Nivura.
