Food design: regenereting places, through agroecology, design and citizen science

open day at Centro socio-culturale Colonna APS

The occasion will also be the occasion to present a partial exhibition of the ISIA Roma Design project “Food design: regenereting places, through agroecology, design and citizen science”, which brings together education, experimentation, and public engagement through a transdisciplinary and place-based format. The initiative explores how agroecology, bioeconomy oriented food systems, and design practices can act as drivers of ecological transition, cultural regeneration, and social inclusion, fully aligned with the core values of the New European Bauhau

The two days are organized in collaboration between the Colonna APS socio-cultural centre, M.Th.I. ETS and ISIA Roma Design also serve as a lead-in event to the Cerealia 2026 Festival and are included - as a satellite event - in the program of the NEB Festival 2026.
