CREA for Cerealia 2023
A series of scientific and educational outreach events dedicated to cereals
CREA participates in Cerealia 2023 as a scientific partner and co-organizer with a dedicated programme featuring a series of scientific and educational outreach events focused on cereals and the territories where they represent the main and defining crop. Alongside the botanical, genetic, agronomic, technological, and nutritional aspects of the various cereal species addressed, the events will offer opportunities to explore the regions, traditions, artifacts, and communities whose histories have been shaped by cereals over the centuries. In addition to scientific seminars and more strictly cultural events, CREA will also host a discussion forum on the latest innovations and supply-chain challenges. The events are aimed both at the scientific community and at a broader audience, with the goal of promoting awareness of the value of these species and their production systems within the Italian agri-food landscape. Some seminar-style events will be held in hybrid format, both in person and online.
