Cerealia 2020 – Dissemination Events in Rome
The 2020 dissemination events of the Festival concluded in Rome with a rich program of hybrid activities (online and in-person) from 5 to 30 December, supported by Roma Capitale.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and pending the rescheduling of the 11th edition of the Festival in 2021, activities from September to December 2020 were adapted in several regions in agreement with the Festival’s network of partners. The aim was to maintain continuity and extend the reach of the project through in-person events, hybrid formats, or digital platforms.
The initiatives sought to enhance the community dimension of the Festival and develop its interdisciplinary scope, focusing on health and well-being, while incorporating insights gained from exchanges with other festivals organized by the European Festival Association (EFA) during the lockdown. Cerealia has been recognized with the EFFE Label as a European Festival of Excellence since 2015.
