SDGs for all (majors): we all care about the future. Event included in the Festival of Sustainable Development 2018 and European Sustainable Development Week (ESDW) 2018. Italian and foreign university students and their professors are invited to discuss together on the role of SDGs in university education. The title is a provocation: sustainability and SDGs must be learned and understood by everyone, and especially included in all academic curricula. The event will be in English and includes video presentations, discussion with debate and experiential workshops. Students and professors of Food Studies from five American universities will attend the event.

Organized by the Archeoclub d’Italia of Rome (reservation on: archeoitinera@gmail.com – 346.75.75.391) Tuesday 5 June INSOR – Institute of Rural Sociology | via dei Rutoli, 2 11.30h | Press conference of the festival 17.00h | Screening of the SHOW CAP films – Innovative Communication for Young People, project co-funded by the European Community, realized by Doc Servizi, Doc Educational and Legacoop Agroalimentare Nord Italia, to communicate in an innovative way the jobs and values ​​of the agro-food world to young Europeans, focusing on Community Agricultural Policy (CAP – Common Agricoltural Policy) and highlighting the values ​​of the sector to the young public. The project aims to talk to professionals and young people about topics that often have a very institutional or documentary approach, with an innovative and artistic way such as sand animation (Sand Art). 12 animated short films were made: 6 for an adult audience and 6 for children on: climate change; food safety; rural environment; water, the most precious good; importance of a healthy diet; the 4 F of agriculture: Food, Feed, Fuel and Fibers. 18:00h | Presentation of Luigi Rinaldi’s book Il pane di Vicovaro. Inauguration of the exhibition Tutti a Tavola!, project “Mostre Diffuse Fotografia” by BYCAM PHOTOGRAPHY – Teresa Mancini. Free admission on reservation
