The long calendar of events of the 11th edition of the Cerealia Festival ends Thursday 25 November at the splendid Roman headquarters in Confagricoltura, with an interdisciplinary conference dedicated to the prince of cereals, rice, followed by a concert.

The conference is organized byINSOR (Istituto Nazionale di Sociologia Rurale) in collaboration with FIDAF (Federazione Italiana dei Dottori in Scienze Agrarie e Scienze Forestali) ISMEO-Associazione internazionale di studi sul Mediterrraneo e l'Oriente, Confagricoltura, Consiglio per la ricerca in agricoltura e l’analisi dell’economia agraria (CREA), FOSAN and ARGA Lazio, with the patronage ofEnte Nazionale Risi.

The works were introduced by the Undersecretary of State MiPAAF Gian Marco Centinaio. Among the greetings Filippo Schiavone (member of the National Confagricoltura Council), Carlo Gaudio (president CREA), Andrea Sonnino (president FIDAF), Roberto Ambrogi (president ARGA Lazio) and Paola Sarcina, director and founder Cerealia festival

The speakers moderated by the journalist Tiziana Briguglio, are: Elisabetta Lupotto (Dirigente di ricerca – Direttore Centro di ricerca CREA-Alimenti e Nutrizione), Matteo Delle Donne (paletnobotanico, Dipartimento Asia Africa e Mediterraneo, Università degli Studi  di Napoli “L’Orientale”– ISMEO); Lorenzo Costantini (bioarcheologo, ISMEO), Giuseppe Sarasso (FIDAF – Vercelli), Francesco Maria Bucarelli (president FOSAN),  Lucio Fumagalli (president INSOR), Marco Romani (Ente Nazionale Risi), Cinzia Simonelli (Ente Nazionale Risi), Benedetto Coppo (president Confagricoltura Vercelli) Giovanna Sangiuolo (vice president of PROMOItalia).
