From June 9th to the 12th took place the V edition of Cerealia organized by M.Th.I., ArcheoClub of Italy- district of Rome, in collaboration with the Embassy of The Republic of Croatia in Italy, the National Board of the Croatia Tourism Organization and Casa Croata. Among the patronage granted by the Italian institutions, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Economic Development, the Ministry of Heritage, Culture and Tourism, Expo Milano 2015 and Expo Lazio 2015. The festival received the “EFFE Label 2015/2016” (Europe for Festivals, Festivals for Europe). The main topic of this year festival was “the woman and grains: the seeds of life”. As festival throughout the territory, in 2015 Cerealia was articulated with initiatives in anticipation of the program starting from May 30; activities were presented in several museums and archaeological sites in Rome, including Capo di Bove, the Ara Pacis Augustae, the Museum of Porta S. Paolo. Restaurants also host activities such as Chinappi, Pasta Asciutta, Bibliothè; training institutions such as the CTS Study Center. Other events took place at the Farmer’s Market of Campagna Amica at Circus Maximus, at the Farmer’s Market Capannelle, Domus Romana and Theatre SalaUno. Rich was the program dedicated to Croatia with two important exhibitions, seminars, concerts, book presentations and video, workshops and tastings of traditional cuisine. The long list of events was also enrich by activities devoted to the main course of Italian cuisine: pasta; but attention was also given to rice, corn and minor cereals. In the lineup for the first time, workshops for agronomists, journalists and communicators.
