“I Cereali tra gusto e benessere”

The third edition of the festival was promoted by M.Th.I., ArcheoClub of Italy headquarters of Rome, Creare e Comunicare in collaboration with the Embassy of Greece in Italy and Città dell’Altra Economia-CAE. The 2013 program in Rome presented various events in various places, including Palazzo Valentini, the Museo Nazionale Romano at the Baths of Diocletian, the National Etruscan Museum of Villa Giulia,Città dell’Altra Economia, the beautiful location near the Colosseum of ISMA (Institute of St. Mary in Aquiro), the Appian Way Regional Park, and many others. But the Cerealia’s program did not stop in Rome: other initiatives were planned in Lazio, at Albano and Ariccia, Rieti, Tarquinia and in Sardinia. Program opened with some activities titled “Waiting for Cerealia”: Sunday, May 19, guided tour to “Il Sepolcro di Eurisace e il Mulino Pantanella” at Porta Maggiore. Organized by Vita Romana founded by Barbara Fabiani. Friday, May 31 at Palazzo Valentini, in the Egon von Furstenberg Hall, inauguration of the photo exhibition “Hellenes Landscapes ” by Costas VERGAS of Leica Academy. Set up by Arianna Di Pietro. Aperitif offerede by the Akropolis restaurant. The exhibition was open until 9 June 2013. Organization: Embassy of Greece in Italy, MThI, in collaboration with the Province of Rome. At Hora Felix, “Bibe Cervogiam”, the history of beer from Asterix to Homer Simpson and tasting of craft of selected Lazio’s beers. Organization: D.O.L. (Of Origin Lazio) and Vita Romana founded by Barbara Fabiani Cerealia closed on June 10th at Doozo Art, with “CAKE - arte & dolci”, presentation of the art and cake book by Manuela De Leonardis, project in support of the Palestinian cooperative Bait al Karama Cookery School, first international cooking school in Palestine Presidio Slow Food, created by the women of Nablus (chairman Fatima Khaddoumi) and from the Italians Cristina Bottigella and Beatrice Catanzaro.
