The Fest of Grains 2012

The second edition of the festival was organized by M.Th.I., Archeoclub of Italy – Rome and Ariccia,  Nur. The Mediterranean country hosted in 2012 wasTURKEY. The second edition of the Festival, having as its core activities the dates tied to the Rites of the Vestals, intended to further expand its calendar during the year, starting in April and celebrating the Ludi of Ceres. Moreover the 2012 edition aimed to expand it programming on a regional and national level, involving more public and private partners. The issues addressed by the festival, as in the first edition were: culture, environment, territory, society, economy, food, agriculture, commerce, history, tourism.

  • From 6th to 11th June, agricultural and educational farms of Romaincampagna offered special menus dedicated to cereals, cooking lesson, educational workshops for children and much more.
  • (*) On the occasion of CerealiaTrambus Open SpA offered a reduced fare of € 10 instead of € 12 (gratis children up to 12) for the Archeobus – Appia Antica (hop on hop off valid for 48 hours);
